Cal Xiu (Xiu House) is a home cottage built in the XVIII century, wholly reformed and restored, placed into the opencast farming and cattle Eres of Vilada. It’s situated at the foot of the Catllaràs mountain range, nearby to Baells dam, and Rasos de Peguera ski resort. It’s a perfect place for resting and enjoying the nature, in the midle of a forest and next to rushing stream of Vilada.
The house can hold seven people. It has a kitchen, dining-room, living room with fireplace on it, washing machine, two doble rooms and one for three people, two complete bathrooms, central heating, a garden with barbecue, fountain, swings and a table tennis table.
It’s situation allows a wide range of cultural, sports and leisure activities in the open air.
Cal Xiu is about 45 minutes from Cerdanya and the South of France ski resorts, going through Cadí Tunnel.
It’s situated at 12 km from Berga, the main town in the area, and 110 km. from Barcelona.
